Abstract:
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by the gradual decline in cognitive functions. Previous studies have shown that acupuncture may have therapeutic effects on AD. Therefore, this paper explored the treatment of Alzheimer's disease in animal models using acupuncture at points such as Yintang (EX-HN3), Baihui (GV20), Sishencong (EX-HN1), and Fengchi (GB20). Additionally, the study investigated the influence of acupuncture on pathways related to PI3K/AKT, GSK-3β, mTOR, SIRT1, and p38 MAPK, aiming to provide new research perspectives and theoretical foundations for acupuncture in the treatment of AD. This may contribute to advancing the application and development of traditional Chinese medicine therapies in modern medicine.

阿尔茨海默病(AD)是一种以认知功能逐渐退化为特征的神经退行性疾病,既往研究发现,针灸对AD存在治疗作用。探讨了针刺印堂穴、百会穴、四神聪及风池穴等腧穴对AD模型实验动物的治疗作用,以及针灸对PI3K/Akt、GSK-3β、mTOR、SIRT1和p38 MAPK等相关通路的影响,为针灸治疗AD提供新的研究视角和理论基础,有助于推动传统中医治疗手段在现代医学中的应用和发展。
