Abstract:

Through literature review and analysis, this article elucidates the mechanisms and related signaling pathways of acupuncture in treating Parkinson's disease (PD). In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theory, the pathogenesis of PD is associated with aging, emotional disturbances, chronic illness, and constitutional weakness, which lead to dysfunction in qi-blood-fluid metabolism, visceral disorders, and disturbances of liver wind, phlegm-turbidity, and deficient wind affecting the sinews. The therapeutic mechanisms of acupuncture for PD involve modulation of neurotransmitters and proteins, antioxidation, inhibition of neuroinflammation, and regulation of neuronal apoptosis. Acupuncture can treat PD by modulating multiple signaling pathways, including: the nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2)/antioxidant response element (ARE)/NOD-like receptor thermal protein domain associated protein 3 (NLRP3)/caspase-1 pathway, the brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF)/tyrosine kinase receptor B (TrkB)/cAMP response element-binding protein (CREB) pathway, the Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4)/nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) pathway, the Wnt/β-catenin pathway, and the sonic hedgehog (Shh)/patched 1 (Ptch1) pathway.

摘要:

通过文献阅读与整理,阐述了针灸治疗帕金森病的作用机制及相关信号通路研究进展。帕金森病的中医病机与人体年老体虚、情志失调、体弱久病导致气血津液运化失常,脏腑功能紊乱,肝风、痰浊、虚风等扰动筋脉有关。针灸治疗帕金森病的作用机制与调节相关神经递质及蛋白、抗氧化应激、抑制神经炎症反应、调控神经元细胞凋亡有关。针刺可通过调节核因子红细胞系2相关因子2Nrf2/抗氧化反应元件(ARE/NOD样受体热蛋白结构域相关蛋白3NLRP3/半胱氨酸天冬氨酸蛋白酶-1Caspase-1)、脑源性神经营养因子(BDNF/酪氨酸激酶受体BTrkB/环磷酸腺苷反应原件结合蛋白(CREB)、Toll样受体4TLR4/核因子κBNF-κB)、Wnt/β-连环蛋白(β-catenin)、音猬因子(Shh /补缀同源物1Ptch1)信号通路治疗帕金森病。
