Academic Thoughts of MA Junshu, a Female Physician of Longsha Medical School, and Their Modern Application

Abstract：
MA Junshu,
one of the outstanding female Tuina practitioners in modern times, is regarded
as the founder of the Longsha Medical School of pediatric Tuina. She advocated
the theory of "Tuina instead of medicine", advocating the use of
techniques such as "lifting and scraping" on specific parts of the body
surface or acupuncture points, in order to open the meridians and collaterals
and activate Qi and blood, so as to achieve the effect of preventing illnesses
before they occur or preventing changes in existing illnesses. At the same
time, MA Junshu strives to expand the scope of application of "Tuina
instead of medicine" to cover a wide range of common pediatric diseases
such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, and chills. Her work Tui Na Jiejing was based
on ZHOU Yufan's Xiao'er Tuina Mijue from the Ming Dynasty, with reference to
the cases of the pioneers and more than 20 years of her clinical experience.
This article analyzes and summarizes the academic thoughts in Tui Na Jiejing
and their modern application, aiming to explore the path of inheriting essence and
innovating for contemporary use.

摘要：马君淑，近代杰出的女推拿学家之一，被誉为龙砂医派小儿推拿的开创者。其推崇“推拿代药”之论，提倡运用“提刮”等手法施于体表特定部位或穴位，以通经络、活气血，达未病先防或既病防变之效。同时，马君淑还着力拓展“推拿代药”应用范围，延及腹痛、泄泻、惊风等多种小儿常见疾病。马君淑所著的《推拿捷径》是以明代周于蕃《小儿推拿秘诀》为蓝本，参之以诸先哲成案，证之以二十余载临证心得。对《推拿捷径》中的学术思想及其现代运用进行分析总结，以期守正创新、古为今用之道。
