Exploration of FU Qingzhu and CHEN Shiduo's Thought of Emphasizing Yin and Retaining Essence

Abstract：FU Qingzhu and CHEN
Shiduo shared the same academic origin and followed the same therapeutic
system. Under the influence of the Yin-nourishing School, the Warming and
Tonifying School and Taoist theories, they developed a unique academic thought
of emphasizing Yin and retaining essence. By reviewing relevant literatures,
this paper summarizes the theoretical development and clinical application of
this thought. Theoretically, Fu Qingzhu and Chen Shiduo clarified the
interrelationships between kidney water and zang-fu organs, extraordinary
meridians, as well as the pathogenic links among different diseases and
syndromes. In terms of therapeutic methods, they enriched the Yin-nourishing
therapies and medication principles. Clinically, they demonstrated the specific
application of Yin tonification from three aspects: diseases common to both men
and women, gynecological diseases and andrological diseases. In health preservation,
they advocated the daily practice of "abstaining from sexual
overindulgence" and "calming the mind". The thought of
emphasizing Yin and retaining essence by FU Qingzhu and CHEN Shiduo has
enriched the theoretical framework of traditional Chinese medicine and provided
valuable references for later generations.

摘要：傅青主与陈士铎书出同源，法本一脉，在滋阴、温补学派和道家理论的影响下形成了独特的重阴葆精学术思想。通过阅读相关文献，归纳其理论发挥和临床应用。理论上，傅青主与陈士铎阐明了肾水与脏腑、奇经的相互关系和病证间的作用联系；治法上，丰富了滋阴法和用药原则；临床上，从男女共患病、妇科病、男科病3个层面展示补阴具体应用；摄生上，倡导“远房帷”与“安神”在日常上的应用。傅青主与陈士铎重阴葆精思想丰富了中医学相关理论架构，为后世提供借鉴。
